HUCKLEBERRY FINN (11:00AM - 3:00PM)

Djing for over 20 years it all started in the roots of South London playing Hip Hop, Electro, Soul and early rave music gave Huck a sound basis to take a more professional angle to his music. He started to developed his true talent working alongside Noodles at Passion Records in London’s W1 in 1990, selling the then newly founded music style of hardcore and drum and bass. He took to the club dance floors playing alongside the likes of Fabio, Grooverider, Kenny Ken and Ray Keith in the early '90's spinning the current flava's' at events such as Biology, Rush and Labyrinth. After playing on various stations such as Touchdown, Rush and Chillin fm, the birth of Girls FM in '94 was his true road to recognition, he played their very first show and rapidly progressed to be one of their most popular DJ's, boasting over 1 million listeners a month. This opened the doors and Huckleberry pioneered the first regular underground us house&garage night right in heart of London’s Leicester Square alongside the MC Creed. Called “Rose Garden” The night rocked the dance floor for well over a year.

Huck was one of the first Dj’s to play Underground house&Garage at the opening night of the newly refurbished Camden Palace for The Best of British alongside DJ, s Norris Da Boss Windross, Bobbi and Steve and Dominic Spread love. His status grew ,playing at the Black and White Ball, Emporium, Middlesex & Hearts Country Club, Iceni, SW.1. Legends, The Rocket and all the prolific Girls Fm parties, more bookings swiftly followed across the UK. inc cardiff swansea leiscester birmingham to name a few His own Sunday all dayers ‘People & Places’ were also extremely popular playing grooves to the connoisseurs and faithful ravers, guests included Richie Fingers and Mickey Simms. Huck became the resident Dj at the Power House in '96 and continued to play there for 3 years with uplifting house and speed garage as it was called at the time. At this point he began to focus on the production side of the music setting his heart on making a his own mark on the scene he had contributed too for so many years. his favourite project was the theme music for a konami game beat mania as it was just about it being fun rather than with in a style and sound. CURRENT TRACKS TO DATE 'My Desire Remix' Amira/Virgin Records (Global Warning remix) 'Legalize It’ ‘So’ ‘Tell Me’ Finn-Ellis /KORecords rip bill farley at over 60 still believed the dream ' Little Bit Of Luck Remix ' Dj Luck&MC Neat (Huckleberry Finn & Sound Solution) ‘ Funky London’ Huckleberry Finn & Sound Solution/747 records (on 4 compilations) ‘ What you doing now’ Anthoney Moriah /d-tension records. He remained there until summer 2002 he now helps out at release the groove records along side dean savonne when needed Huck also enjoys the challenge of organizing and promoting events. His favourite project to date was a stage for 3000 people at Notting Hill Carnival. ’98.He co organized the largest garage party at carnival that year, the event was over 2 days with DJ’s Norris Da Boss Windross, Mickey Simms, Daryl B, DJ Ride, Huck himself who also hosted the whole event plus Live acts from MJ Cole and Elizabeth Troy, a Public Demand show case and the 1st ever performance of Da Click (MC Creed, PSG< Unknown MC, Valerie & Pied Piper) performing ‘Good Rhymes’ finishing with an after party at the Ministry Of Sound. Huckleberry has played abroad in numerous places such as Japan, USA, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Spanish & Greek islands, to name a few however his favourite event was the MTV night in Belgium at their National Stadium Brussels in early 98.as well as being beamed live on mtv Europe. Huckleberry’s knowledge is sort after by the media for reviews, charts and interviews. He did the official UK Garage chart for DJ Mag and also did record reviews for I.DJ Mag.He has helped advise the Observer newspaper on their big analysis and article about the uk scene. He contributed to the Blues And Soul Charts on a regular basis and has been interviewed for magazines in France, Japan, USA, & Poland to name a few. The British Dance Media and TV groups use to contact him often for his advice and hints on what’s hot and what’s not As UK Garage started to explode onto the commercial scene Hucks invaluable advice and connections at the time helped many of the major record labels get their hook on untapped talent. He has influenced various artistes in their up and coming stages such as Artful Dodger, Craig David, MJ Cole, Shanks & Bigfoot Whilst all this was going on Polydor records approached him to become their A&R consultant for urban music. This quickly led to the set up of a brand new dance label called Open-dor records that he managed backed by Polydor themselves. The first release on the label was the Y2K remixes of the classic track ‘Nitelife’ Kim English. . but due to personal matters with the ill health of mother he stopped working with them in nov 2002 Huck biggest love is radio he has guested on various pirate & legal radio stations worldwide, Kiss, Galaxy, BBC Radio Wales, and Choice FM. CN SOHO LIVE . And then finally a lifetime ambition doing a guest mix on radio 1. because of huck experience and libary of tunage he plays a varity of music at all kind of events from 80's soul and dance to 88 89 summer of love vibes to jungle, hardcore ,old school garage and house to club anthems .deep and soulful house and the current trend of funky, dirty ,electro house which he loves to bits i In fact what huck plays is HUCKLEBERRYS HOUSE its all about the music and always will be

POLLO (9:00AM - 12:00PM)

Does this Pesky Kid look familiar?? Was it a review of his that you read in Undercover Magazine? You might have seen him at various clubs around London at one of the DJ troupe Pesky Kidz’ infamous residencies at Elysium (now Paper), No. 1 Leicester Square, Attica and The Island or perhaps Opium, Ruby Cube, Astor, Play Rooms, Click to name a few or even the Friday roadblock which is “Eclectic” at Babble in Berkeley Square. Maybe you heard him on one of London’s cutting edge radio stations over the last seven years? Familiar? Pollo originally broke through on North London’s notorious HEAT FM in the golden days of Uk Garage. Eventually progressing to INFASTEP, with spells on PURE MAGIC, SUPREME, RAW MISSION, RAW FLEX, ITCH and RAMPAGE FM following and guest shows on BOUNCE, FORMATION, POINTBLANK and ICE COLD FM. Which leads us very nicely to present day and where you’ll regularly find him- PASSION FM. Between 18:00-20:00 GMT every Monday he presents the 'Soundtrack to the Week,' an eclectic soundclash of all things House. 'In The Mix', 'Track of the Soundtrack ' and 'Now for Something Completely Different' all feature with plenty of cheek and exclusives galore– open minded lovers of House music need only apply!
